Piece of Mind Therapy and Consulting, LLC is a Vermont based speech-language pathology (SLP) business focused on providing student and client centered services across the state of Vermont.

School Contract Services
AAC (Augmentative & Alternative Communication) Evaluations
Please note- as of the Fall of 2022, all AAC evaluations are completed collaboratively between Danielle Kent and Leah Sophrin through VT-AAC,LLC
We believe in student-centered evaluations that increase independence, advocacy, and autonomy. We believe in family support in the process, and encouraging all team members to better understand and implement AAC into everyday life.
General Speech & Language Evaluations
These evaluations are requested most often for the purposes of assessing eligibility for special education under speech-language impairment. Teams can request specific assessments (a checklist of options is provided when booking the assessment).
Social Communication Consultation
Teams that are looking for more information surrounding a students social-communication profile can request a social communication consultation/evaluation. These services strive to support students and teams to develop tools that support communication growth for the student in question. Topics of self-regulation and executive functions are often discussed as part of this work.
1:1 Services
Executive Function Coaching
Coaching packages available to grow executive function skills. All services requested in this area require caregiver involvement as part of planning.
